Tara Mulay was trained and authorized to teach by Insight Meditation Society. She is a Guiding Teacher at Spirit Rock Meditation Center. Tara began her intensive mindfulness practice while working as a criminal defense attorney for 20 years. Her teachings and practice stem from the lineage of Mahasi Sayadaw, and she has undertaken long-retreat practice in both the United States and Myanmar. Tara is committed to offering classical Buddhadharma teachings designed to cultivate compassion, non-greed, non-hatred, and non-delusion.
