Please read and electronically sign the COVID-19 agreement below, before your retreat at Mercy Retreat Conference and Retreat Center in St. Louis. Submitting the signed agreement prior to attending the retreat is required.
A separate form will be sent out 3 days prior to your retreat with links to upload your required negative COVID-19 test results. COVID-19 vaccination records are not required.

COVID-19 Agreement
These guidelines and recommendations are subject to change.
In this agreement, “community” is understood to include Mid America Dharma retreat participants, all Mid America Dharma retreat staff people, and all Mid America Dharma retreat teachers. (It does not apply to Mercy Center staff members and people who may be attending other activities at Mercy
Center.)
Note: COVID-19 is very contagious. Although Mid America Dharma has listed the below preventative measures, it cannot guarantee that any retreatant, retreat manager, or teacher will not be infected with COVID-19. Despite preventative measures, outcomes are often dependent on compliance from all people and the changing landscape and information we learn about this virus. Information and guidance about this novel virus changes rapidly; all measures to slow the spread of COVID-19 are subject to change immediately. Anyone who would feel more comfortable to wear a face mask during the retreat is welcome to do so.
By completing and signing this form, I agree:
- To be prepared to either upload a photo or screenshot OR present a photo upon arrival of my negative COVID-19 test result from within 3 days (72 hours) of program start.
- To consent to be tested for COVID-19 upon arrival.
- To remain physically distant from other retreatants until a negative test result is confirmed.
- People will not be permitted to participate in the retreat or stay at the Mercy Center if the test result is positive.
- To voluntarily withdraw from the retreat if experiencing any symptoms associated with COVID-19 in the 5 days prior to the start of the program, and/or if I am aware of having engaged in unprotected contact with a COVID-19 positive individual during the 14 days prior to the start of the program.
- People with these symptoms may have COVID-19: Cough, Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, Fever, Chills, Muscle pain, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell.
- To inform Mid America Dharma staff and begin wearing a mask immediately if I am experiencing any symptoms on site associated with COVID-19.
- Guests will be asked to self-quarantine until they leave the property in such cases.
Note that Mid America Dharma staff have limited capacity to care for sick people and that our preference is for symptomatic individuals to leave the campus as soon as it becomes practical to do so.
- To communicate with the Mid America staff if and when I feel that a change to the agreement should be considered, based on new information and/or new understanding.
